Where the jobs actually are
01Civic Center health district
Jackson Memorial, the University of Miami's clinical campus, the VA medical center, and a children's hospital sit within a few blocks northwest of downtown. The highest-acuity NP roles in South Florida are here.
02Coral Gables and South Miami
Baptist Health's southern footprint and a dense private specialty market. Older, commercially insured panels and the easiest commutes in the county.
03Kendall and West Miami-Dade
The county's large suburban residential belt, with the deepest outpatient, urgent care, and pediatric primary care demand — and the most family-heavy panels.
04Hialeah, Doral, and the northwest
Predominantly Spanish-speaking communities with heavy community-clinic and geriatric primary care volume. Bilingual capability is effectively a requirement rather than a preference in this sub-market.
