About Our practice

Our practice is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in your area, your state. We are a [N]-bed emergency department at [community hospital / trauma center — specify], serving approximately [N] visits annually.

Position summary

This is an emergency NP role focused on rapid evaluation, risk stratification, disposition planning, and stabilization. You will work alongside ED physicians, nurses, and case managers.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients in [fast-track / main ED — specify] with rapid assessment and disposition
  • Initiate stabilization including medications, fluids, and [interventions within your credentialed scope]
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies under time pressure
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and outpatient follow-up

  • Participate in team debriefs and quality reviews

Required qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree (MSN, DNP) from an accredited NP program

  • Active, unrestricted DEA registration with Schedule II authority (or willingness to obtain by start date)
